I just wanted to say that it is okay to look for a low cost painter either in Corsicanna Tx or Ennis Tx, Waxahachie TX or any city for that matter.  You will want to be careful that you don't get what you pay for.  If you want someone to paint your house and not charge much you are going to get someone who is not going to get you quality paint and or mix oil based on latex or vice versa.

You may also run into the guy who will give you quality paint etc but he will not make a dime and I guess that is okay for the consumer but bad for the businessman.  He may not warranty his work either and that will be another problem.

I suggest that you get at least 3 quotes and take out the high and the low and keep the middle.  I know what you're thinking, "How will I know that this guy is any different from the other two?"  The truth is you won't but at least you did some inspecting and some due diligence rather than go with the cheapest guy.
You could also get 5 quotes and then narrow it down to 2 painters and then you may want to look for reviews or references.  Ask for a good reference and a bad reference and go from there.  Most guys will say they don't have any bad ones and that may be true for the most part but they may have a customer who was very difficult and everyone broke even.  That is what you want to keep in mind, is that none of us are perfect and you will have to take that into account.  Just listen to the positive and the negative and ask why is this person saying these particular comments.  Just be objective and that will help you get the painter you want.
